Noah is released from the hospital and his care handed over to the care centre in North Carolina three weeks later. We all turn up at the hospital to say goodbye as he’s wheeled out of the doors by an orderly toward a waiting ambulance.
A cheer rises from everyone as he appears, and the jock laughs heartily, waving to them all like a celebrity as Seona and his mother fuss around him whilst the ambulance crew take the gurney, and wheel him toward the back of the vehicle.
