BRIAR'S POV -- There was nothing and everything in the smell of this food. Nothing because that's the situation in my stomach-- it's empty and every piece of cooked food was a taunt because I can't just shove my mouth with it, and its also everything because I don't think that I've ever been this hungry in my life, and the smell is so amazing that when it repeatedly reaches my nose, and I inhale it-- it feels like I'm being kissed by food, and I've never appreciated the smell more than I do this morning.
