Falling in and out of consciousness is something I've never had experienced before, but the pain in my back is unbearable, the split open skin burning as the breeze laps across my back, and the sun's scorching heat isn't any better. Fenrys tied me here, and then acted like he's doing me a favor by getting Column involved.
I didn't think he'd actually do this. I thought he was trying to scare me, to get me to talk, but when that first lash hit and my skin split open, I realized that whoever I thought he was before was just an act, a disguise to lure me in, to trust him.
Is mom even still alive? She has to be though...how else would he have known who I was?
