CAROLINE’S POV — “Caroline.” Someone shakes my arm. My eyes flit open, narrowing when the bright orange-yellow flame of the burning candle. I look up at Zyran, his eyes soft and apologetic. It’s still dark, and when I glance out of the window, I could tell that it was around midnight. The moon sits at its peak, high and shining brighter than any star. “Get dressed.” He sighs apologetically, his shoulders sagging. “What?” I blink, confused.
