CAROLINE'S POV -- The stars shimmer in the dead of night, the wind a soft whistle, singing its beautiful note around me, its kiss cold against my skin. Heat flows through me, as if I'm the flame that dances on the candle, wrapping me in warmth so tight that I struggle to breathe, to move. Have I become the flame that dances in my room every single night? The canopy of trees stretches before me, the bushes shaking, the leaves jiggling with movement.
