LUCIAN'S POV -- 'Seems my mate had a chat with yours.' Atticus muses, all the while my mind is wrapping around all of this. 'You never told me you knew her before this life.' I can feel the longing brewing inside of me, the way a noose wraps around my heart. My eyes flit over Caroline's face as she stares out of the window, her hair falling around her face is smooth waves, the fire illuminating the room in orange-yellow hues.
