The annoying crunchy sound of potato chips being crushed by Jack's teeth filled the room while his fingers clicked furiously on his gaming pad, occasionally detouring to the open snacks to fill his mouth with more chips. Jack was in his room playing this new game that just came out a few months ago. The seven gates of hell. The game was highly addictive and Jack can't seem to pull himself away from it. Because of the game, he had missed dinner with his family. He has been stalk in level 2 and had promised himself that he must pass the level tonight before he can go to bed. Jack's bushy brow wrinkled when he picked up on raindrops hitting the ceiling. It has been raining cats and dogs all week but today had been surprisingly dry. Guess that is about to change Jack thought going back to his game. Right now Jack's avatar, Kumar was currently crouched behind a heavy rock in the third demon world hiding from the Vescuz. They were tall huge demons with yellow glowing eyes that enable them to see so well at night, huge horns shooting out of their heads, and scaly creepy skin. Their eyes are not the only distinguishing mark that separates the Vescuz from the other soldiers, their palms shoot out a very deadly weapon, a flying metal chain with the head of a snake that stings its victims to death if caught. To kill a Vescuz one needs to target the large beating heart hiding away at the left side wall of their body. Jack slowly raised his head to see the position of the five vescuz currently patrolling the area he was hiding. Two of them were making their way in his direction, he quickly jumped up from his hiding place, wielding his two katanas. He used his right sword to pierce one of the demons straight to his left side catching him straight to his heart. The demon let out a piercing screeching wail that sounded like a hissing snake before dropping heavily to the ground. His last moment wail of death alerted the other vescuz about ten of them headed Kurma's way. Jack pressed several buttons on his pad to get his avatar to elevate shoot and deflect the chains thrown at him by the Vescuz he was engaged with. While he was still fighting the demon Jack saw one of the approaching Vescuz shoot out the snake-like chain in his direction. He quickly pressed the left down button on his pad to cause his avatar to dodge the chain which ended up connecting with the other demon's eyes causing him to screech in pain. Blinded it was a lot easier to do away with the demon by quickly shearing his head clean off the rest of his body. Kurma twirled his right sword 360 and ran at the Vescuz. It took Jack twenty minutes to be disposed of them and when the last body hit the ground dissipating into dark droplets that disappeared seconds later Jack felt his avatar body tremble as his life force was upgraded by twenty percent raising his depleted life force to eighty percent. Kurma picked up his other katana which he had thrown at the demon and continued his way. The third territory was made up of hills and a lot of bad terrains that if one is not careful can cause you to tumble to your death. Jack was slowly making his way through a passage that curved treacherously with sharp edges that leads off to a fall of about fifty feet off the ground, he was making his way into the cave that will lead him into the heart of the Leviathan territory. Jack has almost cleared off the path into the mouth of the cave when something jumped at him wielding a huge ax. Kurma flew so high in the air escaping being crushed to death by the large head of the ass. He landed behind the demon only to see more red eyes coming at him from inside the cave. The Cavaliere. They were the third-level demons with red laser eyes that shoot lasers, wide-body so many arms, about six of them all wielding ax. Because of their big bodies, the Cavaliers are slow which was an advantage for Jack's avatar but the darkness was a disadvantage and the demons could see perfectly well in the stark chilling darkness. Jack used his pad to ta on the special ability treasure he picked up in the first world, the gift of sight, and tapped on the icon immediately Kurma's eyesight improved and the cave appeared as if being illuminated by a bright light making all the Cavaliere's visible to him. Kurma ran up the wall of the cave to escape the twin laser beam light that was shot his way from one of the demons and then he did a backflip as he was landing he thrust his sword down through the back of the Cavaliere, piercing through the green matter located at the center of his waistline. It was the center of his life force. The demon dropped in a heavy thud that shook the ground of the cave. The others came at Kurma like flies surrounding a pile of sheets. Jack's hands clicked furiously on his pad as he and his avatar tried to defend themselves. He sliced one of the demon's arms and watched horrified as it grew back. Fuck! Jack exclaimed into the room seeing as he was being overwhelmed by the demons and he created an opening to escape them. While he ran for his life he could feel the demons in hot pursuit shooting at him with their eyes. He ran in a zigzag fashion to escape the lasers being shot at him, he was almost to the other end of the cave when one of the lasers caught him at his upper back. Jack used most of his life force to throw his avatar out of the cave and only the angry growls of pissed off Cavalieres followed him out. The Cavalieres do not do well in the daylight that is why they inhabit the caves or any spaces protected from the sun. Kurma panted, breathless from his encounter with the Cavalieres. Jack took a look at his life force to see it short to twenty percent. Fuck! he cursed again and then blinked when the sound of the rain became heavy drowning out the game sound in his earpiece. Tonight's downpour is going to be the heaviest, Jack reasoned returning his attention to the game. Since he didn't defeat the Cavalieres he didn't get the life force reward and that means if he gets any more mortal blow he is dead. Stretched ahead of him was a vast land of desert that leads to the gate where Leviathan's throne is built. But before he can make it to Leviathan he still has the Dugars, and the queen to defeat and he just has twenty percent life force. Jack looked ahead searching for the diamond sign of the purple gem that would confer him with the power to manipulate earth. Jack pressed down on the left upper button on the front of his pad to cause his avatar to run forward towards the glowing gem. Just as he was about to pick it u he felt the earth begin to rumble and he knew what that means. The Dugars were close. He lunched his avatar forward and grabbed the gem with his fingers before the rumbling got to where he stood. Just before he was swept away by the rolling ground, Jack used the X button on his pad to activate his element causing the rumbling earth to stop. He took out his two Katana in readiness for what is going to emerge from the sand a few feet away from his avatar. The sand lifted until two huge beings with massive horns holding long spears rose from them. Their skin was as dark as charcoal while their eyes were as white as snow which creates a deceptive appearance of blindness but the Dugars could see perfectly fine. The two beings stared in his direction before using their mind to cause a great wind of dust in Kurma's direction. Jack used the X button to erect a cover that shielded him from the severe tornado until it dispersed before he let down his earth shield and ran towards the Dugars using his swords simultaneously to engage the two. The Dugars weakness lies at the center of their chest. The heart spider-shaped beats at the center of their chest. Jack made a lunge for the heart of one of the Dugars which left him open to the other Dugar who pierced his side with his spear just as the sound of thunder shook the walls of his house and then everything turned black.
