I woke up to an empty bed, Rebecca was nowhere to be found. I quickly got up and wore a robe. I ran out in search of her and saw her at the pup's room playing and laughing with Layla. When she saw me, she smiled.
“What's wrong? Why are you looking like you just saw a ghost?” She asked, giggling.
“I woke up and couldn't find you,” I replied, walking towards her to carry Layla from her
“I heard her crying, a while ago, I had to rush down. You can carry her, while I go take my bath. Remember we are going to the vampire's kingdom today." She said, planting a kiss on my cheek.
“Do we have to? We can just stay here and live peacefully." I suggested, smiling.
