I finish unpacking and I put my family photo on the bed stand inside the banker bed. This picture resembles my happiness. This bed will be where I find my peace. Just then Nita walks back into the room.
"Hey girl, you ready to meet more people?"
"As ready as I'll ever be"
"Oh and before I forget, here's your uniforms. Fortunately, its only required to wear when you are out of the hospital, otherwise it's just your usual scrubs"
I look at the two perfectly pressed white uniforms with black ties and white skirts. I think to myself, that this isn't a joke anymore and that I have actually arrived. Life will never be the same again.
"So when do I get to wear my normal clothes?"
"Oh, on your off days, of course. Now, let's go eat some dinner"
