I look at Alice sitting across from me on the bed and holding the note in her hand. I guess it is time for me to explain what I have been doing these couple of days. I can not help but feel a little bit nervous that maybe she might not like the idea that I have done some investigation about the venue that was burnt down.
I take hold of her hand and then a deep breath as I say.
