Ryan's PoV
I stood in disbelief as I listened to the hurried report from Galle’s men through the earpiece I wore and shook my head.
This was insane, not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined that there would be a conspiracy this big with Bennett as one of the key players.
“Bennett’s men are almost at their destination, Alpha. What do you want us to do?” Galle’s grim voice came through the earpiece and Ryan’s face hardened as he lifted the walkie-talkie to speak into.
“Take them down.” He instructed with a snarl, “I’ll make my way down with my own men and the map for the new placements of the mines once the threat has been neutralized.”
“You got it, boss.” Galle said and I could hear the smirk in his voice, “I’m sure we’ll be done by the time you get down here.”
