Everything around me was in chaos. I couldn’t understand what they were saying. Farkas was just beside me, guiding me to walk inside the mansion. Everyone was looking at us, but I kept my head down.
“Alpha,” I heard Lyka’s voice. Still, I didn’t speak.
“Lyka, I need to meet the elders. Can you look after her, please?”
“Okay, no problem.” I felt Farkas urging me to go upstairs. I let him drag me. I could hear Lyka following us.
When we reached our room, he gently let me sit on the bed. He sat beside me, too, but he just kissed me on the forehead before he stood up and walked away. I heard him talking to Lyka again and after just a few seconds, Lyka was sitting beside me already. I kept my gaze on the table in front of me.
