I went back to our room. I held my head and shook it just to help the pain that I was feeling. It was bearable, but then it was uncomfortable. I sat on the bed as I massaged my head. I swallowed hard as I let myself fall on the bed. I closed my eyes again. I needed to feel good already. I couldn’t leave Cali in the library alone. I can do this. Why does it keep on happening to me? What the hell?! I wasn’t even forcing anything!
I was panting so hard and I felt so sleepy already. I didn’t want to give in to sleep, but then my eyes were betraying me. I wasn’t able to control it anymore. I yawned as I drifted into slumber.
I woke up in a room…an empty and quiet room. Everything around me was white. And I couldn't see any walls. I creased my forehead as I surveyed the whole surroundings.
