“f**k!” Farkas’ angry growl thundered in the whole market. I almost jumped on my feet and I could also feel that the warriors who were with us were terrified of him.
I sighed and tried to hold his arms to calm him down. He then looked at me. His clenched jaw suddenly softened. I gave him a tight smile and mouthed ‘it’s okay’. He took a deep breath before heaving a sigh. He held my hand and then turned to the warriors who were waiting for us.
“Let’s go. Arsen, find out what the hell happened to Mason. I just talked to him yesterday. It’s impossible for him to leave town when we already had an agreement. And those wolves earlier, make sure to find out who sent them, too. I’ll rip them into pieces once I know who they are.”
