I was dumbfounded in our room. I didn’t know what time it was already. I was just in my bed, staring at nothingness. When I looked at the wall clock of the room, I saw that it was already 12 in the morning. I wasn’t even sleepy already. My head was aching and I was not sure if it was because of the dream that I had or because of the fact that Devin hadn’t even returned yet.
I took a deep breath and leaned my back on the headboard. I didn’t know what to do. It wasn’t even helping that I was nursing a freaking headache. I bit my lip as I slowly massaged my temple. Thankfully, it listened to what I did. Slowly, the pain subsided. Nevertheless, it was still stinging and I couldn’t move because I suddenly felt weak and my head felt heavy, damn it.
I closed my eyes and calmed myself down.
