‘Now, where the hell are we going?!’
I wiped the tears slowly coming down my face. I don’t know where I was already. All I know right now is that I was already far from Shadowstone. I was not even aware of where this road would take me. But then of course what could I do, right? I chose this. I chose this path, so I have no right to be dramatic about it… no matter how much it hurts…no matter how much it confuses me.
I felt my knees starting to tremble. Earlier, I was so adamant to get out of Shadowstone. I was so angry at Farkas. I wanted to hurt him so bad. I wanted him to feel what I was feeling, but then when he let me go…and now that I left him, it felt hell. It must have been the bond, huh…
