“Did you find out what exactly that drug is?” I asked Emily when she came to check on Rei. I slept for several hours and Rei was still firmly inside my hugs. My hand was honestly dying and my whole body hurt me from not moving during my sleep but I didn’t care. I had her right beside me and I could feel her warmth, it was the only thing I cared about right now.
“It is a mixture of wolfsbane with paralytics. They were specifically modified to literally paralyze the wolf inside us. I guess the wolf could overcome it at some point but we would not know for sure until Rei would wake up and tell us how she feels.
