Breakfast was quiet the next morning. While there were no losses for the village there were shifters who had been hurt beyond repair or whose bones had fused together incorrectly and now left them with a limp or chronic ache.
Even Ally was quiet, which never happened. Jay, Adam, Ally and I all ate breakfast and then slowly made our way to the clinic. We got a list of names of all the people who were seriously injured so that we could pay them a visit and thank them for their service.
