Reluctantly prising open her eyes, she blinked a few times to clear her cloudy vision, allowing her eyes to adjust before looking over at the offending item that was holding her down. her brows furrowing in confusion she stared at the cannula that was taped to her hand, holding the thin needle in place within her vein. ‘What the fudge is going on?’ she grumbled as she turned her head, squinting against the bright light that rebounded off the stark white walls, trying to take in her surroundings and realising that she was in a small hospital room, tucked under the sterile sheets on a small bed that was situated in the middle of the room.
