Max's Pov: 

"So have you thought about Liam's offer", Jenna asks stepping out of the bathroom. "Yeah it's a great offer and I feel honored he wants me but I don't know about leaving Evan especially with all his strange behavior as of late", I say bending down to tie my shoe. "Max he offered you a Beta position alongside Hunter and besides I've seen the three of you together your a lot closer then you and Evan are", she says and I sigh knowing she's right.

When I heard Liam had decided to help search for for Mia I was less then thrilled. As time went by though I learned that his reputation for being a playboy was just a lie that someone had told and that he was waiting for his mate. Although he did admit he had a crush on my sister which I hated but he gave me his word he had never done anything other than talking to her sometimes. I quickly learned that I could count more on those three than I could my own best friend. Evan didn't seem to even care that she was in pain it wasn't until the day she ran that he cared which was odd to me.

"Hello earth to Max you there", Jenna shouts waving a hand in front of my face. "Yeah I'm fine just thinking about somethings", I tell her. "Alright if you say so I'm gonna make some lunch you hungry", she asks heading for the door. "Yeah I could eat", I tell her laying back on my be folding my arms under my head thinking about Mia and how much I miss my sister.

"MAX GET DOWN HERE NOW HURRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", I hear her shout as I jump up concerned by my mate's tone. I race downstairs and run turn checking her for injuries. I notice her face is all drained of color as she stands there pointing at something. I slowly turn around not knowing what I'll see but what I do see has me tearing up.

"Mia is that you", I ask with tears of joy falling and Eli howling with joy in her head. "Well yes and no", she chuckles as I continue to stare at her she looks a little different. "What do you mean yes and nowhere have you been do you know how much we've missed you", I hear Jenna shout. " I'm sorry Jenna and I'll explain everything I just need mom and dad home it'll be easier to tell everyone at once", she says back. "I already linked them they'll be here soon", I say rubbing Jenna's back to calm her.

It only takes five minutes before we hear the door fling open mom comes running in first with dad right behind her. As soon as she sees Mia standing there she begins to cry and dad just stands there stunned. "Hi guys", Mia says sheepishly with tears in her eyes as well. "You owe us an explanation", dad says trying to comfort mom. "Yes I know and now that your all here all explain everything", she says.

She started telling how she had seen her ex-mate with the other girl on the day she left and how it was just too much for them to handle. I agreed with her that would push anyone to their limit. Then she told how she and Ariel had felt compelled to run North. She told us how she had crossed the border into Canada and found a rouge and a witch that she had a connection with and they explained the existence of white wolves. We were all shocked when she said she had powers and that's how she was appearing to us now using something called astral projection. It was pretty knowing my twin was this awesome and that she had accepted the loser's rejection so she wasn't suffering anymore. Mom and Jenna were happy when Mia told them she had a second chance mate out there somewhere me and dad not so much but we promised her we'd only kill him if he hurt her she only laughed at us which made me smile.

She told us the rouge named Mark was training her in hand to hand combat as teaching her to fight with weapons. Dad was a bit apprehensive about it at first mom was worried and Jenna was all like you got this girl I agreed with Jenna my twin is stronger than anyone thought she was. Dad soon agreed with it once he learned that Mark and the witch Jasmine had trained the two previous white wolves and new what they were doing. Dad got a proud look on his face when Mia told him she put Mark on the ground and made him tap yesterday Jenna yelled that's my girl kick his ass. Mom told her she better be careful and not push herself too hard. I set back looking at my sister with pride shining in my eyes at how strong she had become since leaving. I think we all realized that she had to leave to reach her potential staying here would have just caused her more pain.

"When are you planning on coming home sweetie we all miss you", Mom asks longing to hold her daughter. "I don't know but you'll see me at Liam's party celebrating his coronation", she tells making everyone in the room smile. "Really your gonna be there", Jenna shouts making me laugh. "Yeah I'll be done with my training then and I have to be there", she says catching my attention. "Why do you need to be there", I ask here curiously about why. "You'll find out just don't get mad when you do", she says making me look at her suspiciously. "Unfortunately I have to go using my powers this long is making me tired I'm still getting used to them", she tells us sadness in her eyes. "Oh and please don't tell anyone about me especially the alpha ", she continues. "Don't worry princess we won't say a word", dad tells her. "Bye I love all of you and I'll see you guys soon", She says before fading away.

Now, why wouldn't she want us to tell Alpha Richards he's a nice guy. Then it hit the weird behavior all his one night stands and Amber hanging around him so much. "Guys I figured out who rejected my sister and why she left", I growl out my eye color changing as Eli is close to coming out. "Who was it", Dad asks just as angry as me as mom and Jenna watch us with worried looks. Without saying a word I stormed out and marched to my destination getting curious looks from everyone I passed. I headed straight for the pack house .My family closely behind me I knew where he was and I was on a mission.

I flung open the pack house door and stormed into the Alpha's office nearly taking the door off its hinges and causing the alpha to stand. "How dare you reject her and cause him so much pain your the reason my sister is gone", I shout at Evan. "What Evan is this true", Luna Richards asks her son. "Yeah I rejected the b***h and I'd do it again to she isn't strong enough to be my mate", he says smugly causing me to lose it. I jump on him and start punching him I hear mom, Luna and Jenna screaming. It takes dad and Alpha Richards a good thirty minutes to break us apart. "You made a big mistake Max", he growls. "No you the one who made the mistake when you rejected her, she's stronger than you can imagine", I tell him putting my broken nose back into place.

"Oh and one more thing Alpha Richards I resign all rights as the future beta of this pack and as its member I'll have Liam send over the paperwork I've decided to accept his offer", I say grabbing Jenna's hand and walking out. On the way back home I take out my phone and dial Liam's number he answers on the second ring but I don't give him a chance to speak.
