I stared down at my little mate as I carried her up the stairs to our room. She was beautiful in the gown she was wearing I couldn't believe Mia was my mate me and Blade were so happy it was her. "She has gotten stronger and even more beautiful", Blade says through our link. "She was never weak to begin with", I tell him making him agree. Mia was never I knew it from the begin if she was she would never have been able to overcome all the pain she endured from that mutt.
When I first heard from Max that it was Evan who had hurt Mia I was angry. That is not the behavior of an alpha. If Steven gives his son the alpha title after everything he's done he's a damn fool.
