“f**k off Raymond,” I said, already feeling my temper rising. I didn't want to lose it in front of Olivia, but Raymond was this close to making me snap.
He tilted his head, clearly trying to provoke me in front of everyone, especially Olivia.
“Here to ruin another family barbeque, Raymond?” I shot back, crossing my arms as I fought hard to keep it together for Olivia's sake.
“Oh, I wouldn’t want to ruin it, Derek,” He said with mock innocence while shrugging.
“Just here to remind everyone who the real man of the family is.” He glanced around, taking his time, as if everyone was waiting for his words.
“I mean, some of us don’t need to throw around our money to get attention.” I clenched my jaw, stepping forward.
