Olivia looked up, curious but unaware of the irritation boiling inside me. I forced a smile, not wanting to spoil the mood.
“Stay here. I'll see who it is.” I walked over to the door, already annoyed. When I opened it, it was Madeline who stood there, her expression all too pleased.
“Derek,” She said, stepping inside before I could even react.
“What are you doing here, Madeline?” I asked, not hiding my irritation. She was the last person I wanted around right now.
