I was willing to do whatever it took to keep Aaron out of Olivia’s life. She had gone through enough, and I wasn’t about to stand by and watch her suffer any more than she already had.
Lila, her adoptive sister, was also targeting her. I just wanted them gone. I had gotten the bodyguards, like I had stated before, watching Olivia and even Derek so that they could be protected at all costs.
I was stupid to let her out of my sight at the ball. She didn't tell me that she was going outside and I didn't question it when I didn't see her.
It was a stupid move on my part and now I have to pay for that mistake.
