(Derek) I nodded at Mr. Hargrove’s words, feeling the tension knotting in my chest. This was it. No more waiting, no more second-guessing. It was time to face Rebecca and put an end to this once and for all. I glanced at Olivia, her gaze fixed on me, and I felt guilty. She shouldn’t have to deal with this. None of this was her fault. But Rebecca and Raymond had made it their mission to destroy everything we’d built, and I couldn’t let that happen.
