I would be lying if I said that I knew how long we just stood there, staring at one another. Their face continued to remain pale, and the more I waited for them to say something—anything—they said nothing. But then again, I couldn’t blame them. I had realised that they had had no idea that I was here, that I would be present too, and my presence had clearly caught them off guard.
