Damian’s Point of View The paramedics asked Carolyn only a few more questions before leaving the two of us at the hospital. Thankfully, she didn’t have to wait long before a nurse guided us into a curtained off room and a doctor followed us inside. Within the hour we had her x-rays taken and the doctor had returned to the room to inform us that the bone had been broken. He brought the x-ray images with him, pinning them up against the light screen and my heart sank when I saw the clear fracture line through her bone. I let out a sigh, my head hanging in defeat.
