Carolyn’s Point of View
It became a regular routine for Damian to drive me to and from hockey practice and games for the next week. We’d stroll into the arena with our arms wrapped around each other and he’d give me that now familiar kiss on the cheek before disappearing into the locker room. Then, at the end of the night I’d meet him back at the car where he’d hold open the car door for me and drive me home.
I had to admit things were working out pretty well on my end so far, with Nicholas and Thomas having not uttered a single word in my direction since finding out that Damian and I were a couple. Actually, the whole team had been rather quiet towards me since the day of our little announcement, including Benno.
