Carolyn’s Point of View “Thank you again for driving me home,” I said to Benno, leaning back in the front seat and feeling a rush of relief come over me. It had taken 10 minutes of the drive already before my nervous system finally began to relax a little. I’d been in a bad mood all morning after my little run in with my father last night, and my mind had become some kind of tangled web after my mother pleading with me to leave her.
