Damian’s Point of View I’d collapsed into my sister’s coach in defeat, hanging my head back to stare up at the ceiling. My sister was back on the bed, staring me down from across the room right now. I was certain her eyes were wild as she waited for me to elaborate on what I’d just said. “You screwed up?” She repeated my own words back to me and not for the first time, but she was going to keep repeating them until I finally gave her an answer. I’d committed enough my saying those words and now there was no other way out of this conversation other than to tell Bri the truth. Maybe that was what I needed though. I needed to get all of this off of my chest so that Carolyn and I could have a clean slate, and maybe someone could help me figure my way out of all of this without hurting either
