Carolyn’s Point of View Over the course of the next week, things between Damian and I only seemed to become more awkward. With each practice session for the team, I found myself purposefully avoiding Damian every day and trying to keep myself busy with other tasks. With our lost game last Friday though, the coach was happy to have me shuffling around busily. His own stress level had gone up a few notches. Having the twins return to their positions was supposed to have made this team unbeatable, but instead they almost seemed to drag us down in their first game back. The fight had been unreal, taking the referees nearly ten minutes to get everyone separated and back to their benches. Honestly I wasn’t sure the game was going to go on after that, but somehow the players powered through. T
