I knew I had upset her at the St. Patrick’s party. Maybe it was not all my fault but the little green man’s, but I felt guilty for dragging her to it in the first place. She still kissed me and smiled and was a bit in her own mind, a woman that I wanted to have all to myself, that I wanted to understand more.
