As I watched Aurora burn, I was baffled. I knew she was always crazed and unstable, but this was something else.
In part, it was my doing because I let her escape, and I killed her husband instead of giving her a chance to make things right, to follow the vampire path. She never fully embraced who she was since I took her husband's life.
George, another fool, was quickly converted to my ways. It must have been too fast, as I now see him running to her. What did he think was going to happen here? An orgy? Now he wasn't worried about his wound. I will get rid of him after everyone else is gone. I need no witnesses, no weaklings.
I hated Aurora, the woman Elon had always had his eyes on since he saw her. He forgot all about me and took her in, caring for her the best he could.
