Nyx's POV The threat froze the blood in my veins. "No. Please. Don't." "Then give me what I want. Right now." My mind raced, scrambling for anything that would buy me time. "I can't just tell you a location. It's not that simple. The information my grandfather gave me, it wasn't straightforward. They move camps constantly. He told me about patterns, symbols, meeting schedules. I need time to piece it together." "You have until I lose patience." He stepped closer. "Which won't be long." "I need maps," I said desperately, the lie building as I spoke. "Your intelligence reports. Information about recent rogue movements in the region. I need to cross-reference what I know with current activity. If I give you wrong information and you waste time chasing ghosts, you'll kill my pack anyway.
