CH 30: Impossible Decisions

It has been two long agonizing days since father informed me of his conditions of the deal he wanted. Either do what he asked, shoot Ezra in the head in front of him, or never find out what is going on with Genevieve. I can't make that decision. Of course, I want to be selfish and choose Ezra, but how can I look at him every day knowing that I might let my sister die for him? I know what my father is doing, he is torturing me in the worst way possible by playing on my conscience. When I told Joel about the whole ordeal, he threw a lamp across the room, and it shattered against the wall. He, of course, told me I wasn't going to take the deal. The only thing that was left to do was to put an end to our father. The longer he stays down there in the cell, the more room we leave for suspicion
