I hear the door creeping open and a female voice saying ‘can we come in yet’
‘Mum you are so impatient have you been listening at the door waiting on your chance’ my mum laughs.
I look round and an older version of my mum is peeking round the door
‘it’s not just me, I was just the only one brave enough to poke my head in. Now stop keeping my granddaughter to yourself and let me meet her’
‘Do as she says dear your mum is driving me nuts an older man says from behind her’ I start laughing
‘oh shush you, you are just as bad and you know it’ he pouts.
I like these two, I think I am going to get on well with my new family.
She walks in the room straight up to me ‘well let me have a look at you, you are the image of your mum, you are going to drive all the young men wild
