*Calen’s POV* My heart suddenly twists in pain, I would have doubled over from it, but the chains holding me in place were too tight. I didn’t know what was going on as I stare at the only thing that mattered to me. I had pushed her away, needing her to be safe, to be unharmed. The underworld, where these reapers were taking me, was no place for someone like her. She was too innocent and gentle to live in a horrendous hell that awaited us there.
