Chapter 62

Willa, Bea, Neri, and Abby look at Phoebe just like she lost her head but it was Willa who instantly shoots her a glare.

"What the f**k did you just say?" Willa said to her, her face simmering with anger.

Phoebe just shrugs, acting cool before raising her eyebrow, and smirked at Willa. "You are not deaf, Willa. You heard what I said."

"Damn, girl," Abby said before chuckling. "We accepted you. We even helped you with your stupid decisions and now, this is how you are going to repay us?"

"Yeah, the audacity of this b***h," Bea said but Phoebe just grinned.

"Yeah, because of you, girls..." Nagsimulang lumapit si Phoebe sa mga kaibigan niya. She kept her grinning face as she took another step towards them.

"I became the baddest b***h I never thought I can be," Phoebe said smugly.

Neri took a step forward to her. " Ungrateful b***h!" Neri was supposed to slap her but Phoebe quickly grabbed Neri's wrist and hold it firmly.

"Look who's talking..." Phoebe said as she turned her gaze to Abby, Willa, and Bea. "It's the four of you who are ungrateful!"

Phoebe gritted her teeth as she remembers the times where her friends are using her name in a way beneficial to them.

Malakas na iwinaksi ni Phoebe ang kamay ni Neri. Napaatras naman si Neri habang hawak nito ang palapulsuhan na namumula dahil sa higpit ng hawak niya.

"Tell me. Did you all enjoy using me?" nakangising tanong ni Phoebe.

Phoebe fights herself to not feel bad about being used again but she can't just endure. She's mad. She's mad and hurt again.

Pakiramdam niya ay masyado siyang naging tanga. She has been noticing how her friends treat her just like what her first friends did to her but even though she already has the hunch of her friends' toxicity, she thought they are worthy of what she has.

Nasa mukha nila Willa, Neri, Bea at Abby ang pagkapahiya habang hindi makatingin sa kaniya. Napaismid na lang si Phoebe kapagkuwan ay humalukipkip.

"I don't need you kicking me out. I'm with Sasha and we are out," Phoebe said before grabbing Sasha's hand and lead her pregnant friend out of the building.

Napatigil si Phoebe nang biglang hinila ni Sasha ang kamay nito mula sa pagkakahawak niya. Naiirita na nilingon niya si Sasha.

Agad din nawala ang pagkairita niya nang makita ang itsura ni Sasha. Nawala ang maaliwalas nitong mukha. Namamawis ang mukha nito dahilan para masira ang make-up nito dahil sa pag-iyak.

"Why did you kick yourself out? What you did may backfire on you, aren't you scared?" tanong ni Sasha sa kaniya.

Napataas ng kilay si Phoebe habang tinitignan ng maigi si Sasha kapagkuwan ay napangiti.

Muli niyang kinuha ang braso ni Sasha kapagkuwan ay hinila ito sa pinakamalapit na comfort room. Hindi na nakapagprotesta pa si Sasha nang ipasok niya ito sa comfort room.

"Wh-what are we doing in here?" tanong ni Sasha kapagkuwan ay biglang nanlaki ang mata na ikinataka niya.

"What?"

Sasha looks at her as if she's a ghost. "Ple-please, Phoebe.. " ani Sasha kapagkuwan ay umiling-iling sa kaniya. "I'm pregnant. If you are angry with me because of taking advantage of you, please spare me for now. I can't afford to lose my baby."

Phoebe instantly understands what's going on. Napabuntong-hininga siya kapagkuwan ay nameywang.

"Really?" Phoebe looks at Sasha with disbelief. "You thought I'm going to hurt you?"

Biglang nagliwanag ang mukha ni Sasha, tila nabunutan ito ng tinik. "Yo-you are not going to hurt me?"

Mabilis na umiling si Phoebe. "Of course not. I just saved you out there. Maybe if it's Willa you're with right now, she would."

Muli na naman napahikbi si Sasha na ikinataka niya. "Why are you crying?"

"You're stupid! Bakit ka pa umalis sa group? I'm the one who made a mistake! Stupid!"

Napataas ng kilay si Phoebe dahil sa mga nasabi ni Sasha. "You just saw what they did to you, right?"

Hindi umimik si Sasha. Patuloy lang ito sa paghikbi kaya naman napahilamos naman siya ng mukha.

Too much drama. Is this what pregnancy looks like?

Nanlaki ang mata ni Phoebe nang may maalala kapagkuwan ay napatingin kay Sasha.

"You haven't told yet on how did you became pregnant," Phoebe said that made Sasha stilled.

Napataas ng kilay si Phoebe. There's something that happened. She can feel it on her gut as she looks at Sasha who's still silent.

"What happens after hopping into Larry's car?" tanong niya.

Phoebe watches Sasha tremble. "La-larry... Larry brought me into his place."

Nanatiling tahimik si Phoebe. She wants Sasha to feel safe blurting out what happened. Lalo na't buntis ito at kakatapos lang saktan ang damdamin, kailangan niyang manatiling tahimik.

"I...I thought he loves me. I thought that what we have is also something special to him. B-but then..."

Napalunok si Phoebe nang mas lalong umiyak si Sasha. Inilapat ni Sasha ang kamay nito sa sarili nitong tiyan habang nakatingin.

"Larry is evil! I can never forgive him! I can't..." Sasha gasped for air as her tears continue to cascade down her face. "I can't forget what they did to me!"

Natulala si Phoebe pagkatapos marinig ang sinabing iyon ni Sasha. They?

"What do you mean they?" Phoebe asked.

Tumingin sa kaniya si Sasha. May tumutulo pa rin na mga luha sa mata nito habang nakatingin sa kaniya.

Nanlaki din ang mata niya nang biglang lumapit sa kaniya si Sasha kapagkuwan ay niyakap siya nito habang patuloy na umiiyak.

"I-I'm a rape victim, Phoebe. I was raped."

Pakiramdam ni Phoebe ay gumuho ang mundo niya habang pinoproseso sa utak niya ang sinabi ng buntis niyang kaibigan.

She's raped? Napalunok si Phoebe habang nakakaramdam ng poot at lungkot para kay Sasha. Somehow, she was so affected. Gusto niyang ipaghiganti si Sasha.

Napabuntong-hininga siya habang yakap si Sasha hanggang sa tumahan na ito at humiwalay sa kaniya.

"Have you tried to report what happened to you?" Phoebe asked in a soft voice.

Sasha shook her head. "I can't."

Phoebe looks at Sasha with a frown. " But why? It's the authority who can only help you, Sasha."

Umiling si Sasha. Halata ang takot at pagkabahala habang tinitignan siya ng may pagmamakaawa.

"Please, don't Phoebe. We just can't! They are a group. A cult! That's why I'm pregnant right now! They used me as their sacrifice! They use my body for their ritual! We can't report them or they will haunt us!" natatarantang sabi ni Sasha na mas lalo niyang ikinakunot ng noo.

Cult? Sacrifice? Ritual?

Napailing si Phoebe tila hindi kayang maniwala sa sinasabi ng kaibigan niya. Wait are they even real?

"Sasha, are you sure of what you're talking about?" naninigurado niyang tanong.

"It's true, Phoebe! Larry has a cult. I just don't know when he joined them!" Sasha said. "Th-this is why I don't want you to report it, Phoebe. They are a group. There are so many of them. And Larry threatened me, Phoebe. He's going to kill me if I reported what happened to me."

Naiyukom ni Phoebe ang kamay niya kapagkuwan ay nakaramdam ng lungkot dahil sa kalagayan ni Sasha.

She doesn't know but she feels like she's so affected by what happened to Sasha. Galit ang nararamdaman niya para sa mga lumapastangan sa katawan ni Sasha at lungkot para kay Sasha.

Sasha thought that she loves the right person. She thought that Larry was also worth it. But then, in the end, Larry betrayed her. She loved a devil. A devil who has no heart and the reason now for Sasha's pregnancy.

Phoebe watches Sasha cry without uttering any words. She doesn't want to get involved at first but she just can't endure seeing Sasha helpless. That's why she also knows what she can do.

"I will help you, Sasha..." sabi niya na ikinalaki ng mata ni Sasha. "I will help you get those motherfuckers in jail."

And just what she expected, Sasha continues to cry and plead for her to not report but she just shrugs Sasha off.

Nakasakay sila ng kotse ngayon. Phoebe called her driver and make their way out as an emergency. Pinayagan naman sila since she's a VIP and her Dad is a sponsor to the university.

Phoebe sighed as her Driver stopped the car in front of their mansion. Agad na bumaba sa kotse at pinuntahan si Sasha sa kabilang bahagi para pagbuksan ito ng pinto.

"Phoebe, please don't..." Sasha said as she shook her head, still crying. "I can't... I'm scared, Phoebe. Larry will kill us."

Phoebe sighed kapagkuwan ay tinulungan lumabas ng kotse si Sasha.

"What's going on, Ate Phoebe?"

Nilingon ni Phoebe si Aliyah. Nasa mukha nito ang pagtataka kapagkuwan ay nakita nito si Sasha na umiiyak.

"Where's Dad?" seryosong tanong niya.

Aliyah nods her head at Phoebe. "Uhm, he's in the study."
