Giovanni's Point of View
I'm not sure what they did to the eggplant to make it taste so good. It was so strange that I found it tasty. I remember eating that exact same dish a long time ago when mom was still alive, but it doesn’t taste the same.
Hindi sa sinasabi kong hindi masarap iyon, but what they gave us in the clinic was twice as good. Aside from that, I noticed another thing which I found unusual.
Nakita kong pasulyap-sulyap si Ms.Hernandez sa gawi namin ni Amir. Dalawang beses lang naman. Last was before she started eating. Tinitignan ko lang siya sa peripheral vision ko para hindi magmukhang I’m looking at her too.
Naisip ko bigla na baka inobserbahan niya ako or maybe si Amir pero parang sa akin siya tumingin. I don't want to assume, but if ever she did, then I'm happy.
