I decided to attend the executive meeting together with the chairman's assistant.
Nasa mahabang mesa ang mga ito. Nakaupo naman kami sa isang gilid. May hawak akong notebook at ballpen, but I wasn't able to use it.
I was just looking at the man at the end of the table. Prente itong nakaupo roon habang bumubukas ang bibig sa pagsasalita tungkol sa mga plano niya sa kompanya.
Everyone was attentively listening to him, but I was the only one who couldn't comprehend all that he was talking about.
Maybe it was just new to me as I wasn't used to hearing him talk about business. He didn't like the idea of me visiting him during work and I could feel his distaste seeing me in that building. He never really liked involving me in his business matters.
