I groaned in pain as soon as I woke up after feeling an intense pain in my jaw and neck. When I opened my eyes, I found myself lying on the cold marbled floor. Agad akong napatayo at nagpalinga-linga sa paligid. I panicked for a bit dahil ang unang naisip ko ay baka pinasok ang bahay. But when I saw that everything was in order ay kumalma ako. I checked the time and saw that it’s still 2:00 in the morning.
Then I started wondering how the hell I ended up in the living room. Did I collapse because I drank too much?
No. That would be impossible. I wouldn’t be able to drive if I was that drunk.
Napaupo ako sa sofa at sumandal. Hindi na lang panga at leeg ang masakit sa akin kundi pati na rin ang ulo ko. I couldn’t stop wondering what happened to me.
