Narrator’s Point of View
It’s been days since Alas started his plan to gather evidences that he could use against his wife. Days had passed but he hasn’t got anything. Nagsisimula na siyang mainip. He’s getting frustrated as days pass by. Kating-kati na siyang puntahan si Ligaya. He can’t wait to see her. Miss na miss na niya ito, but he has to restrain himself because it might just complicate things even more.
“Alas…” malambing na tawag sa kanya ni Elizabeth nang sumilip ito sa kwarto niya.
Ever since Ligaya left, she has started to act sweet and gentle. She would call him softly, serve him like what a wife would be, but it just made him madder. It upset him more. It disgusted him even more. But he’s trying his best to control his temper and act like he’s fine
