Chapter 4: Discovery

Third Person POV

"White" Mr.Yates approaches White and lower his head and do a handshake to him as a form of courtesy

"Hello Mr.Yates! About your daughter--" Mr.Yates interrupted White who looks tensed and uncomomposed in front of a person who is so intimidating

"I knew. I just wanted to say thank you" White just smiled and touched his head and looks in the right side. His cheeks was blushing

"Uhm can I ask you a thing?" White composed himself and look at Mr.Yates

"Yes sir?" He feels that behind the smile of Elaine's father there is a threat

"Do you like my daughter?" As white heard it he feels nervous and even himself he doesn't know what is his intentions, all he can think is he wants Elaine to be his friend. That's it nothing more nothing less

"No. Sir" Mr.Yates believes White for now as based from his actions it seems honest but it doesn't leave his mind the possibilities of chances that one day he might loss his one and only daughter

"Well Good, I hope it stays like that. For now can I ask you not to see my daughter for a while?" White gets sad after hearing those things he doesn't know why he cared so much about not seeing her. They only met twice and they doesn't have proper conversation all he did was to save her and stare at her .. 

"Not a problem sir" he smiled even he is hurt there's no doubt that he can cause confusion to Elaine's condition

"Well then enjoy Yates University!" He smiled then seconds later White realizes that the school he was currently schooling is own by them

"That's why he is intimidating" White chuckles and decided to run he is really late to school.

MEANWHILE...

Elaine is having a dinner with her father. She took a glimpse at her dad who is seriously eating and always having a sigh. Sometimes he stops and looks like thinking. Elaine doesn't know but his father is furious about her daughter's actions. He can't imagine how naive his daughter was for letting emotions to prevail her. He was just scared of losing another important person in his life. He is already done with the agony and he can't take another one.

"Elaine" he called in a very serious tone and looking straight forward to her daughter. Elaine suddenly felt scared for when her father makes that tone she knows that he is damn serious and she will get reprimanded.

"I'm sorry" she lowered her head and whimpers

"I've told you already to not cling on things that is dangerous! You could've died Elaine!" She sobs quietly because once her father saw that she is crying it will get more furious

"I can't help dad besides we've talked about this!" She looks at her dad and wipe her tears using a tissue paper pretending their was a spilled food in her cheeks

"We did... But it's not in the agenda to get to know them! Are you really that desperate for attention!" Words got stucked in Elaine's head thinking her father is just too much. But she believes that she deserves such harsh words for it was the truth

Minutes pass and her father notices how harsh he was and felt sorry for his actions

"I'm sorry" Her dad said and stands then approaches Elaine then gave her an apple

"It's okay dad it's n--" her dad interupts

"No more arguments. At least you know your mistake. I just can't afford to loss you" Elaine robs her tears and grab the apple that her father gave

"Dad why apple? I love watermelon" seconds flash and Mr. Yates feels useless on why he doesn't know her daughter's favorite fruit. He thinks that he was the naive not his daughter

He look at his daughters suspicious smile ever. He got chills when his daughter chuckles and was like thinking of something unimportant

"Ayieeee you miss big brother!! Kuya won't mind going home!!"  Elaine playfully said that shocks his father

ELAINE POV

He looks startled because the last time he saw my brother is they have a little fight about the company. My brother's dream is to be an architect and since I can't handle the company because of my condition he was tasked to do it.

My brother said that he will think of it and decided to fly to America and to our surprise he took business management at Queen's University in England and also he took masters at his passion. At young age he became so respected for how early he got those titles and I miss him.

"Let's just wait" father said and drink a glass of water then head outside

I know why my father is like this, he respect my brother's decision and he wants the best of us even though our father is kinda strict about things he loves us so much and even mom passed away he is still devoted to her.

I look at the clock and it's 8pm it's early and time to go out but since what happen yesterday he prohibits me to go out for a while. The bad thing was I can't never visit them again but it doesn't mean I can't help them. As father said there are a lot of things on how to help them without showing myself. He believes that helping in the shadows is much more appealing than those who publicly displays their self to be praised (not all)

"Uhmm what's interesting today?" I roam my eyes around at corner of my room trying to see anything interesting

I almost forgot there is nothing at my room since I wanted a plain pastel room and there's is only one big painting at the center and a mirror at the side with cabinet's.. typical room

"What about watch a vlog?" I scan to see my favorite vloggers but I don't why I don't feel motivated watching them

"Online Games?" I only played GTA and Left For Dead since I'm a die hard gamer. Hehe just kidding

"Editing Photos?" Well I don't have anything worth to edit since I don't usually take pictures

My attention was caught when I saw an ad of an anime. I watched the entire trailer and it catches my interest

Well not to mention I love Fairy tail and that's the only anime I watched because I love op characters. Especially when they defeated the Alvarez Empire and witnessing great powers of Mirajane. I can't help but to be astonisted so let's try this anime!

"Well the title of the anime if the time I got Reincarnated as a Slime" Pretty long title for a good anime

-- Hours Past

"WOAHH!! I NEED THE SEASON 2!!!" I don't know why but I can't stop myself from thinking of this anime. What if I am Rimuru Tempest? The powerful one! The absorber!

"Wait? What am I saying?" I chuckle and roll over my bed

I swear to God this anime is so good and I'm rooting for more and because of that I need to save more anime in this account! It's pretty astonishing for me to enjoy this form of entertainment as for I really don't watch anime except for "Fairy Tail" and now I guess I'm pretty shallow for my reasoning

It's almost morning wait? It's already morning

I chuckle and here it goes again Satan do his works as another anime pops again on my monitor and this time...

I WILL WATCH IT!

-- HOURS PAST again...

"This anime is so.. so... Tragic.. I can't!!' I whimper as I playback the part when Emma from The Promise Neverland leaves Phil in the house! She can't never leave an angel!! You should come back Emma!

Anyways I really feel sick after watching this anime and my heart was broken but chill out guys it's not that I'll faint again because of this and my phobia triggers its not just like that. It's my passion for that darn anime! How this could be so good and the same time pretty intimidating!

Darn these artist are so good in making people wait for them.. how I wish to be like them..

"Wait I need to know more!! Google!!" I accidentally look at the time and yeah it was 3am

They said that it's the devil's hour well later I'll deal with that! For now I'll get to focused this anime!

I read comments about this anime and we have the same reactions and also I need to spoil myself so that my heart will rest that Phil and Norman is just okay..

"Phil in the recent manga has seen Emma" my eyes sprinkle when I read this comment my heart went opps!!

"Norman was adopted by a guy and he was not sold to be eaten." So he was not eaten thats good and hey readers I'll not spoil more you need to know it yourself!

I blink as many times as I could thinking I was just imagining things but darn his comments is so TRUE!

"it's good I'm giving it 6/10" WHAT IS THIS COMMENT!! Why not 7? The anime is a no for him? Well I really respect each peoples opinion but things like this is unacceptable

How can he be this ruthless? Giving this rating to an exemplary anime is unforgivable wait let me see his name

"black?" I laughed as I read it's name no wonder why he named himself black because he has dark attitude! So rude!

Finale anyways! I'm going to slee---

"Dad?" I stop when he open my door and turn on the lights of my room. He looked at me with his eyes widened and will shout anytime

"ELAINE!!" And yeah I'm busted.. another point for Elaine! Wieeee!!

"Dad please let me sleep..." He calmed down and leaves a sigh

"Okay sleep for now. I'll deal with this tomorrow afternoon" after all his my dad and because of that he turn of the wifi the whole day so I prepare myself
