Chapter 8 - Part 2

So, once again, he tried to have s*x with someone. And he wished he hadn't. Because no matter what he did, his manhood refused to stand. Erika had been sucking him for almost an hour, but his stupid manhood wouldn’t cooperate. And to make things worse, Erika got mad at him and called him names like "gay" and "impotent." His friends almost died laughing because Erika had told them what happened as soon as she came downstairs. He was utterly humiliated. He became the topic of conversation among his friends. They pressured him to explain why that had happened. Sebastian didn’t believe that no woman was involved. Because he had experienced the same thing. There was a woman he really liked, though he never named her. Sebastian relayed the story of his uncooperative little piece of s**t. Just like Jax, he couldn’t get hard either. Jax put his phone down and didn’t continue the call. No, he wouldn’t go through another embarrassing incident again. Jax's thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock. He cleared his throat and adjusted his posture. He continued scanning the files that needed his review and signature. Chelle entered with a stack of new documents. "Sir, these are the papers that need your signature from Sir Chris," she said, placing them on Jax’s desk. Chelle was about to leave when Jax suddenly spoke. "Is Miss Ocampo still in the marketing department? She didn’t resign?" Chelle was surprised by her boss's question. She didn’t expect him to ask about Bree. Now she was sure that Sir Jax had some kind of interest in her friend Bree. This was the second time he had asked about her. It wasn’t in Jax’s nature to inquire about his employees unless they held high-ranking positions. Chelle quickly masked her surprise and gave a small smile. "Yes, Miss Ocampo is still there, Mr. Samaniego. It seems she’s getting along well with the marketing department." Jackson wanted to punch himself for asking. "i***t," he cursed himself. For the past week that Bree hadn’t been in his office, everything had felt too quiet, and Jax felt like something was missing. He was beginning to think Bree had cast a spell on him. Now that she was no longer around, he found himself looking for her presence. He wanted to scold her again. Jax shook his head and just continued working. He didn’t recognize himself anymore. No matter how much he tried to get that woman out of his mind, he just couldn’t do it. An hour later, Jax cursed under his breath. He stood up and stormed out of his office. He needed to check the events hall to ensure everything was in order. The annual grand ball was happening tomorrow, and everything had to be ready today. He would just take a quick look at the progress. Though he trusted Cindy to supervise the team, he still needed to check it himself. He had to be hands-on with this event. "Sir, should I ready the car?" Rex stood right outside his office. Jax waved his hand dismissively. "I’ll just be downstairs." Minutes later, Jax stood at the entrance of the convention hall. The staff was frantic since they only had limited time to get everything done. The hall looked well-organized. Jax scanned the entire hall. The team had done a good job. No one had noticed that their boss was already inside. Jackson just stood there, silently watching them work. His eyes were searching for someone. No matter how much he denied it, he couldn’t shake the feeling that he actually missed that witch. Yes, he called her a witch in his mind because he felt like she had made him drink a potion that wouldn’t let him forget her. Even though Jax knew such a thing was impossible. But he didn’t see Bree. "Where was that woman?" Cindy had told him that she had assigned Bree to the event team to give her some work. She was just a part-timer in the company, so she wasn’t supposed to handle business-related tasks. A group of men entered, carrying flowers. Maybe he should just go back. Everything seemed to be in order here. Jackson was about to leave when he suddenly heard that sweet laugh he always heard in his office. It was irritating. His forehead creased when he saw Bree entering, carrying boxes of flowers, alongside Renz Alcaraz, the marketing department head. His frown deepened when he saw how Bree smiled and laughed while talking to that man. She looked like she was genuinely enjoying his company. She had that sweet and bright smile plastered on her face. Irritation bubbled inside him, and he stormed out of the hall. He took long strides as he walked back to his office. His brows were furrowed, and his face was scowling. The employees who saw him noticed his dark expression, even those on the 30th floor. They immediately sensed that something was wrong with their boss. He had left his office with his usual neutral expression. But now that he was back, he looked like he was ready to burn the entire building down. Everyone fell silent. They were afraid that Mr. Samaniego might take out his anger on them. He slammed his door shut and slumped onto his office chair, closing his eyes in exhaustion. What was he even doing? This wasn’t like him. He remembered the dream he had a week ago. Thankfully, that was the only nightmare he’d had since. There hadn’t been another one. He still couldn’t understand why Bree was in it—or why she was Kath’s killer. Jax knew the dream had no basis in reality. "Was he the reason she liked being in that department? Did she like that man’s company?" Jax angrily asked himself. He was annoyed by the smile on Bree’s lips. He wouldn’t allow her to be happy there. He hadn’t put her in that department so she could laugh and flirt with other men. Renz Alcaraz. He noted the man’s name. He had been with the company long before Jax became CEO. Jax pulled his phone from his pocket and called the first woman on his list. He really needed a release. An hour later, Caroline sashayed into Jax’s office. Her head was held high as if she was the most privileged woman in the area. Minutes later, she was moaning loudly while Jax had her bent over his desk. They hadn’t even bothered to remove their clothes—he had simply lifted her short skirt and unzipped his slacks. He was f*****g her like he wanted to rip her apart. Every thrust was rough, pouring all his irritation and anger into it. He didn’t even know why he kept feeling this frustration. He gripped her ass tightly as he pounded into her without restraint. He wanted to release all his pent-up emotions. But then, for the second time, Bree’s image appeared in his mind as he f****d Caroline. Jax clenched his jaw as he imagined Bree naked, bent over his desk, taking his thrusts instead. Just the thought of her set his entire body on fire. His whole body shivered in pleasure. Seeing Bree in his mind made each thrust feel even better. He imagined how sweet her moans and screams would be. Jax rolled his eyes back as he delivered one final deep thrust before his entire body shuddered in climax. He immediately discarded the used condom in the trash and dismissed Caroline. She didn’t even complain when he told her to leave—that’s what he liked about her. She was a willing body. No complaints. No drama. Breathing heavily, Jax slumped into his swivel chair. He lit a cigarette and took a few puffs. No. That was useless. It didn’t lessen the tension in his mind. If anything, it only made it worse. He stared at the ceiling of his office. He was truly confused. He had no one to talk to about his problems. Should he tell his friends? Of course, he could trust them, but they would subject him to intense teasing—especially Andrei, who lived to mess with people. Maybe he could talk to Trisha. Since she was his doctor, she could give him advice. Jax decided to speak with Trisha after the annual ball. For now, he had work to finish. He pulled up his pants and continued working.
