Chapter 05: Hidden.
HOLDING the breakfast that Heart bought from the hotel’s restaurant, she entered their hotel room and found Nix. He just got out of the bathroom wearing nothing but the towel on his waist. Water was dripping from his hair and he smelled so good with his fresh musky scent.
“You smell so good, babe! Here’s our breakfast!” she yelped.
Nix turned his head to her and glanced at the paper bag she was holding. She thought he would greet her with a smile but instead, he brawled.
“Where have you been?” he arched his brow. “You should’ve just ordered food instead.”
“I already told you earlier, I went to the Ozouf forest to find my phone.”
“You went there by yourself?”
“Remember the man that I told you about? The one who saved me? It turned out that he’s the hotel owner and he agreed to help me find my phone!”
His eyes narrowed upon hearing that. Jealousy flashed into his face before he put his hands on his waist.
“Did you find your phone, then?”
She shook her head but returned a smile. Then she continued walking inside. She put down the paperbag of food on the table before she excitedly sat down on the bed.
“You didn’t find your phone but you looked so happy? What’s the meaning of that, Heart?”
Still smiling, she unbuttoned the two buttons of her blouse while looking at him. Nix pursed his lips, landing his eyes on her chest.
“What are you doing?”
Nix was crimson red when she finally took out the hidden camera inside of her blouse and showed it to him!
“Tadah!” she excitedly beamed. “I’ve already filmed the Ozouf forest, my problem was solved!”
Heart expected that her boyfriend would be happy knowing that she finally got what she wanted. However, he seemed unhappy about it. Nix was always happy for her whenever she achieved everything that she wanted. However, this time was different. It was as if he was disappointed.
“Why the long face?” she smirked.
“I want to know who that guy is,” he replied. “You were with him earlier this morning when you didn’t know who he was. What the hell, Heart?”
She pouted her lips, she didn’t expect her boyfriend’s reaction.
“He’s the hotel owner, it’s impossible for him to put dirt on his name. Relax, babe. I’m back safe!”
However, instead of answering her, he clenched his jaw and then turned back to her to go to the cabinet. Guilt runs through her chest and realizes what she did… Did she make her boyfriend jealous? Well… she guessed so.
After Nix wore his clothes, they started eating breakfast. Nix wasn’t talking to her, as if he was really mad at her. Looking back, Nix was always a great boyfriend. He was the perfect example of a boyfriend. He also respects all of her decisions and all of what she wants to do. It’s what makes him exceptionally different from other guys out there. She knows that even though he was jealous, she just had to coax him and all of his sulking would fade away!
“Rave will come with us while filming. In exchange for helping me, he wants me to promote his hotel,” she said. “Is that okay?”
“A free promotion, really? You had three million followers and he wanted a free promotion?” He raised his brow.
“It’s fine, Nix. He helped me film the forest. It was just a generous payment. He didn’t ask for money.”
“Of course, he wouldn’t ask! We’ve already paid for this expensive hotel room!”
“Why are you so mad?” she rolled her eyes.
“Just… I don’t like that man!”
“Hey, hey… calm down, you don’t have to yell like that. He’s not what you think, don’t judge easily,” Heart replied. “You should meet him later.”
“Babe!” he shrieked.
“You’ll meet him whether you like it or not,” she decided.

RAVE sat down on his swivel chair as soon as he entered his office. The moment he has been waiting for has finally happened. For centuries, he has been waiting for the woman he has always loved. Never once did he stop loving that same woman, she was the only one for him.
He clicked his tongue as he sighed and took the bottle of whiskey on the desk in front of him. Then he poured it in a glass. It was still morning and he hadn't eaten anything since he woke up. However, he wanted a glass of it to at least lessen the pain he was feeling right now.
As he was sipping on the glass, the door opened and his Beta came in. His lips pursed as soon as he saw him.
“What the hell, Alpha? You’re drinking whiskey first thing in the morning?” He strode his way towards him and then snatched the glass from him. “You’re killing yourself. You know that you’re not getting any younger!”
He chuckled. “Just one glass won’t kill me, Chase.”
“One glass? Really? One glass per day!” he shrieked. “You still need to find Ana.”
“I’ve found her,” he surprised him with his reply.
Chase’s eyes widened. He didn’t expect that he would say that.
“A-alpha… don’t fool me. I know that you’re waiting for her for too long but you shouldn’t bluff like that!” Chase replied, chuckling.
“I’m not bluffing. Do I look like I'm joking?” He raised his brow.
That’s when Chase realized that what Rave said wasn’t a bluff but the truth! He suddenly sat down on the chair in front of his desk, ready to ask more.
“Where is she?! And why do you look so depressed when you’ve already found her?!”
Rave swallowed the lump in his throat before he looked up at Chase. This guy was obviously more excited than him!
“She’s here at the hotel, she’s with her boyfriend.”
“Dang! Boyfriend?!”
“Yes.”
“Is that really her?”
“Yes, that’s her. I saw the crystal that I hid inside her chest.”
Chase shook his head while looking at him intently. Then he straightened his back.
“If it’s just her boyfriend that you’re worried about, then we can get rid of him right away!”
“Chase…” he gave him a warning look. He knows Chase, whatever he asks him to do, he will do as soon as possible.
“It will be messy but at least your problem will be solved!” he laughed.
“It’s not easy. I only found out that she’s a vlogger and she filmed all her travels, including the Ozouf forest. She’s famous in the human world. I can’t just act recklessly. Besides, she hasn’t remembered me yet.”
Rave opened the drawer on the desktop then took out Heart’s phone. He had already seen her phone last night, he even saw her photos together with her boyfriend and it only made him mad.
“Throw that away,” he said.
“Whose phone is this?” Chase asked curiously. He took the phone and then turned it on as his eyes widened in surprise. “She’s Ana! What the heck! I’m following her on social media! If only I knew that she was the Luna Queen then— ouch!”
“When did you start following her?! Why didn’t you tell me?!”
“I… I don’t know! I had just started following her last month when I saw her vlog! And you didn’t have social media so I didn't think you’d be interested in her!” he explained.
Rave realized that he had a point. He doesn't have time for social media and even though he has time, he doesn't care about all that stuff. All he cared about was finding Ana while working in his country.
“Just throw that phone away! She shouldn't know that I got that.”
“Why?”
“She was looking for that phone but I didn't want her to find it. She accidentally filmed the Ozouf Forest yesterday when those asshole rogues chased her.”
“Oohh! I see she's the one who asked a favor from you.” Chase nodded and then smiled. “You fooled her!”
“It’s better for her,” he shrugged. “She shouldn’t share whatever the Ozouf forest was hiding.”
