I took a deep breath to compose myself. Hindi ko alam kung anong sinabi ni Maeve at Joseph kay Thadeus para magkagano’n siya, pero alam kong hindi ‘yon maganda. They either told him the truth or told another lie to ruin my image. Pero kahit alin man sa dalawang ‘yon, it won’t change the fact that Thadeus was mad and probably disappointed at me. But I just can’t back down. Not now when I am ready to tell him the truth.
“Baby, can you stay here and watch cartoons?” tanong ko kay Eros at pilit na ngumiti habang pinipigilan ang pagbagsak ng mga luha ko. “Mommy just gonna talk to Daddy Thadeus, okay?”
Halata mang naguguluhan ay tumango pa rin sa akin si Eros. “Okay, mommy. I’ll just wait here.”
