My eyes widen as I stared at him, my mouth fell open. Of all the things I would hear from Geoff as we enjoy the serene scenery in front of us; that was the unexpected one.
I was somehow expecting that we’ll continue catching up with our lives yet Geoff seemed to have different plans on his mind. And now that I am seeing how his focus changes in this matter, it seems that he has been waiting for the right time to open this up to me. It seems that he wanted me to feel easy around him so it won’t be that too awkward he finally brings this topic.
I swallowed hard, the last sentence he said earlier keeps playing on my mind.
