Amanda’s POV
Nagkatinginan lang kaming tatlo nina Theon at Zues at halata sa dalawa ang pagtataka sa mukha nila. Lumapit na ako sa harapan ni Theon at Zues bago napahinga ng malalim.
“Well, ganito kasi ‘yan. Zues, Theon is my bestfriend and he’s the one who brought me here in Manila few months ago, and Theon, I’m here because Zues seek my help about his grandma and we’ve also known each other for a while.” Nakangiting paliwanag ko.
Napataas ang dalawang-kilay ni Zues at muling tiningnan si Theon.
“I thought that you were harboring some feelings for Amanda and was trying to compete with your cousin. Never thought that you were her bestfriend.” Zues chuckled. Napailing-iling ako. Pero si Theon ay sinamaan lang ng tingin si Zues.
