*phone ringing*
I opened my eyes as I was just half asleep. I could tell it’s already midnight. I glanced at the bedside table where my phone is. Who’s in their right mind to call in the middle of the night?
Amy’s already deeply asleep with her head resting on my chest and her arms wrapped around me. I don’t even want to move, it could wake her up but the phone ringing might be the one to interrupt her sleep.
I tried my best to reach for it without moving that much. I let out a harsh breathe when I successfully picked it up without disrupting Amy’s sleep.
