“Magtago ka!” Mariya whispered in a shouting manner. I don’t know if I’m making any sense. She looked frantic whilst I looked amused by the situation.
Tumayo si Mariya at aligagang dinampot ang mga damit namin. She threw my clothes at me. Pinanlakihan pa niya ako ng mata. I could see her fully because I switched on the lampshade beside the bed.
Rinig pa rin ang sigaw ni nanay Lita sa labas na mayroong magnanakaw sa kwarto ni Mariya. I couldn’t help but laugh inside my head.
“Bilisan mo! Baka mahuli tayo!” aligaga pa ring saad ni Mariya.
I looked at the clothes she threw at me. “Do you expect me to wear this?” I asked her while holding her pink underwear with my thumb and index finger. It is dangling in front of me.
